Next Century Spirits blends together traditional distilling techniques and unique finishing technologies to create enhanced spirits. Our new, patented finishing technology allows traditional distillers to expand their repertoire of achievable flavors and aromas, allowing for consistent and tight control over the production process, maintaining high quality and resulting in the ability to create bold, complex flavor profiles.

Traditional barrel aging of spirits involves storing distilled liquor in wooden casks for up to 40+ years. During this time, several chemical reactions take place to develop the characteristic flavors and aromas of whiskey and other brown spirits. The maturation process involves hundreds of different and individually unique reactions which constantly occur inside of the barrel.

Our proprietary process optimizes the extraction of specific oak compounds, which creates tasting notes such as vanilla, cinnamon, almond, and oak. It simultaneously pushes flavor reactions to completion, including the creation of fruity, aromatic esters. The end result is a customizable, mature tasting spirit that can provide substantial cost savings compared to other suppliers.
